Eager to conduct firearms training in Low and No-Light environments?

Peacemaker National Training Center is excited to announce the start of our Night Shoot sessions! These events will allow shooters to use white light and night vision devices in our Liberty bays after sunset. Spots are limited, so sign up today! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY Night Shoots will enforce stringent requirements on participants. Please review the following: – Shooters will arrive no later than 6:30 PM (1830) and check-in at the Shop located at 1624 Brannons Ford Rd, Gerrardstown, WV 25420 – Gates will be locked at 6:30; those arriving later will not be permitted to shoot – Fresh waivers are required for all shooters, even if one is on file – The session will conclude at 10 PM (2200) – All participants MUST have a handheld white light source on them – Ear and Eye protection is required at all times – Minimum of two (2) Strobes/chemlights/IFF must be affixed to front & back of each shooter and remain activated for the entire duration of the session – NO bi-metal, steel core, LAP, green tip, or tracer ammunition – NO Full-Auto fire – NO rifles calibers over .308 permitted – If using White Light: – MUST be weapon mounted for Rifles – Can be weapon mounted or handheld for pistols – If using Night Vision (aka NODs, NVGs, etc): – Must be analog/Image Intensifier based – NO DIGITAL NODs* – All participants including those who are spectating must complete and sign a liability waiver at the club house prior to being directed to the range. This includes current members. – NO YOUTH under the age of 16 will be permitted as shooters or spectators, though spectators are welcome. * Due to the inherent latency of Digital NODs (including thermals), these will not be allowed as a PRIMARY means of aiming/navigating in No-light conditions. Digital NODs may be used for photography/filming purposes. Thermal optics must be paired with analog/image intensifier based NODs to be considered acceptable. This session is not intended for zeroing thermal optics as this can be done much more efficiently during the daytime.
